Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Welcome to alinaceclandt.com (the “Site”), operated by Alina Ceclan (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to the Site and your purchase or attendance of any course, workshop, or training program offered by us, including but not limited to “MiYO Magic: From Monolithic to Natural” (the “Course”).

By accessing the Site, joining a waitlist, or booking a place on a Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book a Course.

2. Course Bookings

2.1 Course places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment (or deposit, where offered), unless otherwise stated at checkout.

2.2 Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a place on any Course. We will contact waitlist members when new dates or spaces become available.

2.3 You must provide accurate, current information when booking, including your name, contact details, and any professional qualifications requested for course eligibility purposes.

2.4 We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, including where course prerequisites are not met.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 All course fees are quoted in British Pounds and are payable in full at the time of booking unless a deposit/instalment option is explicitly offered.

3.2 Prices include course materials and a Certificate of Attendance unless stated otherwise. Travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs are not included unless expressly stated.

3.3 We reserve the right to change prices for future bookings at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by you: If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing at contact@alinaceclandt.com.

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the course date: full refund, less a 10% administration fee.
  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the course date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course date: no refund.
  • No-shows on the day of the Course are non-refundable.

4.2 Transfers: You may request to transfer your booking to a future course date, subject to availability, up to 7 days before the original date. One free transfer is permitted per booking; subsequent transfer requests may incur a small administration fee.

4.3 Cancellation by us: If we cancel or reschedule a course date (for example due to insufficient enrolment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances), we will offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date at no additional cost. We are not liable for any other costs you may have incurred (e.g. travel or accommodation) as a result of such cancellation or rescheduling.

4.4 Statutory rights (EU/UK consumers): If you are booking as a consumer within the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of booking under distance-selling regulations, subject to certain exemptions (including where the course date falls within that period and you have expressly requested the service to begin). Nothing in these Terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights.

5. Course Content, Materials and Certification

5.1 Course content, materials, and demonstrations are provided for educational purposes and reflect techniques and clinical approaches used at the time of the Course. Materials and product recommendations may be updated or changed without notice.

5.2 A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who complete the full course. Certification confirms attendance and participation; it does not constitute a professional qualification, licence, or endorsement by any regulatory body.

5.3 Any clinical cases, images, or videos used during the Course are shared for educational demonstration purposes. Techniques taught are intended to be adapted to each technician’s own professional judgment, local regulations, and laboratory protocols.

5.4 Post-course support (where offered) is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and does not constitute ongoing clinical supervision or a guarantee of specific outcomes.

6. Recording, Photography and Use of Likeness

6.1 We may photograph or record parts of the Course for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. By attending, you consent to being included in such materials unless you notify us in writing in advance that you do not wish to be recorded or photographed.

6.2 You may not record, livestream, or reproduce course content (video, audio, or materials) without our prior written consent. All course materials remain our intellectual property (see Section 8).

7. Health, Safety and Conduct

7.1 You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to participate in any hands-on/practical elements of the Course.

7.2 You must inform us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities (e.g. to dental materials), or accessibility requirements.

7.3 We reserve the right to remove any participant from a Course without refund if their conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All course materials, presentations, videos, branding, and content on the Site are the intellectual property of Alina Ceclan (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

8.2 Course materials are provided for your personal, professional use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly share course materials without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of professional opportunity) arising from your attendance at, or reliance on, the Course.

9.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9.3 Our total liability to you in connection with a Course booking shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that Course.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. social media, booking forms, payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites.

11. Privacy

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy: link], which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in compliance with applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR/EU GDPR where relevant).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
